About SVPS

The St. Vrain Photographic Society (SVPS) is a non-profit organization that offers an educational and fun forum for photographic enthusiasts of all levels, interests, and expertise. The purpose of SVPS is to promote learning about photography with opportunites to develop photographic skills through workshops and field trips, programs to learn from skilled photographers in the area, open discussions, and opportunities for competition and exhibition of photographic work.

Meetings: We meet the first Monday of each month, January through December; or the second Monday if the meeting falls on a holiday. The June meeting is a potluck dinner with awards for winners of the annual competition. There are no meetings in July or August.

Meeting Time: 6:30 p.m. is a pre-meeting presentation or discussion; 7:00 p.m. is the general meeting.

Meeting Location: First Congregational United Church of Christ, 9th Avenue and Francis Street, Longmont, Colorado. Parking and entry are on Warren Avenue behind the church. The meeting is held in the Fireside Room.

Annual Membership Dues: $20 for an individual or $30 for a family.

Visitors and new members are always welcome.
